Where Are the Spiritual Things?

In our daily interactions we can detect a number of things taking place when we think about it. Thoughts, feelings, expressions, instincts, intentions and so on, all effecting us in some way. But what about spiritual things? Pastors and religious people in general would have us simply believe that these things are there because the Bible says so etc. But how often to we get a believing but also rational take on the subject? That is what I attempt to do in this discussion.
