The Principalities and Powers

There is a seeming contradiction in the scriptures that few talk about. We are to honor and obey the government and its officials and yet our enemy is the principalities and powers. Is there a genuine contradiction here, just a matter of interpretation and context, or wisdom that only genuine life experience can shed light on? I believe it is the latter, and will be discussing that in today's episode of Musings.
